Who is Andrew Kiste the author?
Andrew Kiste is a historian and high school teacher who has written many books abou the Walt Disney Company.
Including A Historical Tour of Walt Disney World and Walt Disney and the 1964-1965 New York Worlds Fair. So it’s only fitting that he wrote this fabulous insight into the moments and events that shaped Walt Disney’s life.

My favourite Disney film/character is Mulan. I’ve always thought she is massively overlooked in the Disney Princess line-up, when actually she was one of the earliest positive-influence Disney female leads and role-model characters for young girls (in my opinion). Yes she has a love interest but it’s not the focus of the story – she is brave and fights for her country and family, and the humour and music in the film is wonderful too.
