As a coffee lover, I am known to enjoy several cups a day. Having always treated myself to instant coffee that is full of flavour. I’ve always lusted after my own coffee machine, however there is always something else that needed my attention, so a huge thanks to AO.com for the opportunity for a Ninja Coffee Bar review just before Christmas!
Isn’t the Ninja Coffee Bar the most awesome Christmas/ Non Christmas present ever? I have to admit to having never used a filter coffee machine before.
So the first use was a little alien to me but I appreciate the permanent filter which is very easy to remove and clean out. For those that prefer to use coffee filter bags, five paper filters are included to get you started!

What accessories come with the Ninja Coffee Bar?
Also included with the Ninja Coffee Bar is: A 40 recipe cookbook for the adventurous coffee connoisseur, a coffee scoop, a stainless steel carafe, a milk frother, and two Ninja branded tumbler mugs (they are pretty funky!).
The scoop is seriously handy as it features the scoop amount required for the size of drinks container being used. It permanently lives on top of the coffee machine. Though it does become second nature knowing how much coffee is required.

How does the Ninja Coffee Machine work?
The stainless steel coffee carafe is fabulous. Absolutely cool to the touch an rest on your worktop but keeps the coffee inside perfectly warm and ready for your next cup without the use of a warming plate. As it is vacuum insulated, the carafe will keep your coffee warm for up to two hours.
The Drip Stop is handy to simply flick over to avoid any drips if you do store your carafe/mug underneath. When selected, a light on the control panel is visible. The coffee machine beeps at you if you try to make a drink without turning the drip stop off. It has beeped at me several times so far! It is so easy to forget, however great that the machine beeps to let you know.
The milk frother has been used a couple of times. Simply warm milk in the glass frother (do not include the plastic or rubber elements!) in the microwave. The glass will still be cool-ish to the touch but manually use the frother part. Within 30 seconds you will have warm frothy milk ready to pour your coffee onto.

Ninja Coffee Machine Options For Different Coffee Brewing Types
The 4 different brewing methods to choose from include: classic and rich. As well as over ice and a special coffee (check the include recipe booklet).
As I drink black coffee, I have only used the classic option so far and the flavour has been wonderful. To change the size of container you wish to fill, simply turn the dial and a light will appear on the chosen option.
I didn’t quite know what the Auto-iQ One Touch Intelligence meant and it possibly does make the Ninja Coffee Bar appear scarier than it is. It basically just means the machine knows exactly what to do.
Such as how much water is required for the chosen drink size etc. This coffee machine also features a timer so that you can wake up to a coffee already made for you. Just ensure you have filled up the water tank and coffee filter the night before.
Brewing times:
Cup of Coffee: 4
Travel Mug: 4 minutes
Carafe of Coffee: 6 minutes

Final thoughts on this the Ninja at home coffee machine
I am totally in love after the Ninja Coffee Bar review, it is everything I hoped, wanted and expected from a coffee machine and more. It is not a hardship to make either one cup of coffee or a full carafe.
I appreciate how the machine tells me what I need to do. You cannot go wrong when making your own coffee! As for setting the machine up, simply find space and plug in. It really is no different to switching on a kettle!
The Ninja Coffee Bar really does offer you a coffee shop experience in the comfort of your own home.
Taking advantage of their fantastic service – Ninja products have a one year warranty as standard. I love how robust the machine is though you will need worktop space for the coffee bar. As the dimensions are: 18.5 x 11.8 x 12 inches, it is very much a centrepiece item on your worktop!
