How to Reduce Road Noise Through Windows at Home

Three panes may sound like they must block more noise than two, but acoustic performance depends on the complete construction of the window.

The spacing between panes, thickness of each piece of glass, laminated layers, seals and installation can all matter.

For that reason, a well-designed acoustic or secondary glazing system may be a better noise solution than ordinary triple glazing.
