Fancy solving a decades old murder mystery from the comfort of your own home? The Unsolved Case Files – Jamie Banks game sees you taking on the role of a cold case detective tasked with solving a murder that occured decades ago with only the original investigator’s case file to go off.
This really is a game to sink your teeth into, especially over the Christmas holidays!
Aimed at ages 14-18 years and upwards, this is an awesome gift for teens who want to hone their inner detective skills.

Case Files
The presentation of the game is outstanding and does resemble a real case file! Containing over 50 evidence photos and documents for you to analyse, including articles, phone records, suspect interrogations and more, the aim of the game is to solve three mysteries.
- Prove why the convicted man is actually innocent of the crime.
- Disprove a key suspect’s alibi.
- Identify the key piece of evidence that will see the real killer behind bars.
The game is made more exciting by the fact there are 3 different mysteries to solve regarding the fictitious murder.

How to play the game
You really do need to read through all the evidence, so make sure you block some quality time off for this. The Unsolved Case Files game does require internet access as you have to prove you have solved a clue on an online answer page. This basically tells you if you are right or wrong at that stage, though will not give away any spoilers!
Once a challenge has been solved, simply open the next envelope to get cracking on the next! The flow of the game is quite simple and bar requiring to go digital and use the internet, you can play straight out of the box. No batteries required, just your phone battery!

Wrapping up
This really is a great way to occupy your mind, especially if you love solving things. Why not set up your own detective agency and get family together for a fun night of sleuthing with a murder mystery game night!
The game is also a fabulous date night idea or something fun for a friends gathering. Though, it really is perfect as a Christmas gift idea for teens as it will get their minds ticking over. Alongside helping their research and evaluation skills. There is no time limit either, so no need to feel the pressure!
Unsolved Case Files Jamie Banks is available to purchase from Amazon, currently priced at £29.99. You will find there are quite a few different versions of the game, featuring different crimes to solve. So if you like this particular mystery game, then there are always more to try in the range!
You could even start a monthly murder mystery game session! You can play the Unsolves Case Files games by yourself but it is more fun with others. With 10 players, you may want to split into teams to battle it out to be the first to solve the case!
