I hadn’t realised that there are quite a few easy Keto recipes that I have made featured on the blog now, so I thought I would do a round-up and hopefully inspire low carb meal options for Keto followers!
The health benefits of Keto are astounding, not only am I losing weight, but I feel a lot better in myself! I have higher energy levels, glowing skin and the dawning realisation that if my belly rumbles, it doesn’t actually mean I am hungry! One of the things I state about Keto is that I wish I had been aware of it sooner.
Most people tell me they couldn’t do it as they would miss carbs too much – pull the other one, I’m a Northerner! I used to live on carbs! Since following the Keto diet, I’ve realised all my bloat and the feeling of lethargy is all carb based. For me, ditching the carbs has decreased the bloat and increased my energy!
Easy Keto Recipes To Get Started On A Low Carb Diet

You can still have bread… you can make 90 second bread with almond flour! I have only made it with ground almonds so far and it wasn’t the greatest unfortunately. Almond flour is finer than ground almonds and makes all the difference apparently.
I’ve come to realise there is always a work around for favourite recipes that will help you remain within macros. Who knew you could make pancakes, it was just a case of using a different flour?

Cut back on everything and keep it simple. Meat and veg. That really is the easiest way to do Keto! There are carbs in most foods, it’s about finding the good carbs and what is healthiest.
Green vegetables are always best and meat contains essential fats and nutrients. Chicken is great for protein but make sure you add a fat based side dish with it.
There are a number of different keto plans out there, so it’s important to choose one that fits your lifestyle and food preferences.
How do you Keto on a tight budget?
Aldi is a great place to shop when on the keto diet! You can buy meat packs such as chicken drumsticks and they have lots of deli meat packs.
The keto diet isn’t that expensive when you are adapted and in a flow, especially if you are intermittent fasting too. So long as you always have the staples to hand you can certainly find a way to budget on keto!
